The Apollo-V2 is Vvkb’s 5KW diesel air heater — built for truck drivers, RV owners, and boaters who need serious heat in serious cold. Rated to -40°C with 5 adjustable output levels, it keeps a full-size truck cab or RV interior warm all night on under 2.5 litres of diesel.
Unlike unbranded heaters sold on Amazon, the Apollo-V2 carries both CE and E-mark certification — independently tested for road safety across the EU. The combustion chamber is fully sealed from the cabin air supply: exhaust exits through the vehicle body, not into the space where you sleep.
Vvkb has manufactured diesel heaters since 1996. The Apollo-V2 ships as a complete installation kit — heater unit, fuel pump, ducting, LCD controller, remote, and all hardware included.
Both models are CE and E-mark certified. You can select your preferred output on rvheater.com.
The Apollo-V2 (310mm × 122mm × 115mm, 2.6kg) fits in trucks, RVs, motorhomes, buses, vans, boats, and off-road vehicles. For very compact spaces like small campervans, the Apollo-V1 2.5KW is a better fit due to its smaller footprint.
Yes. The Apollo-V2 uses a sealed combustion system — outside air feeds the burner, and exhaust gases exit through the vehicle body. Cabin air never contacts the combustion process. The unit includes automatic fault detection with shutoff. As with any fuel-burning heater, fitting a CO detector is good practice.
The V2 outputs 5KW (16,100 BTU) — designed for larger vehicles and extreme cold down to -40°C. The V1 outputs 2.5KW and is more compact, better suited to smaller spaces or milder climates. Both carry identical E-mark and CE certification. You can compare and buy both on rvheater.com.
Yes — E-mark (ECE R122 / R10) is the EU standard for parking heaters installed in road vehicles. It involves independent third-party testing, and it’s what separates certified heaters from uncertified budget alternatives. View our full certification documents on the certifications page.
At boost (4.7KW): 0.475 L/hr. At low (2KW): 0.201 L/hr. For a typical overnight run of 8 hours on low to medium, expect 1.6–2.5 litres total — less than a cup of fuel per hour at low settings.
Most DIYers complete the install in 3–5 hours with basic tools. The kit includes all hardware, ducting, and wiring. A step-by-step installation video is on this page. Auto workshops and RV service centres can typically complete the job in a day. For a complete step-by-step walkthrough, see our diesel heater installation guide. If you run into error codes after installation, our diesel heater troubleshooting guide covers every fault code with fixes.
Heater unit, fuel pump, fuel line, air intake pipe, exhaust pipe, flexible ducting, wiring harness, digital LCD controller, remote control, mounting plate, and all hardware and fuses. Everything required for a complete installation.
1-year manufacturer’s warranty, backed directly by Vvkb. As the manufacturer, we handle warranty and spare parts ourselves — no third-party middlemen. Replacement components are available separately through our heater parts page.
