Due to the shrinkage effect, the matching gap between the engine parts will become larger, resulting in poor air tightness and incomplete vaporization of the fuel.
Some fuel will just be burnt and discharged into the air. That does much harm to the environment. And some fuel will stick to the cylinder wall.
Due to the continuous movement of the piston, the fuel will clean the little remaining lubricating oil away from the cylinder wall.
Without protection from the lubricating oil, the cylinder wall and piston will be in the extreme wear.
